Autumn Mood

Hello everyone, autumn is my favourite season — rich colours in the hedgerows and wrapping up warm for walks in nature!

This is the view from the small sofa with soft cushions which I added recently to my study. My orchid collection is putting on a display, keeping me company as I write, research and read for pleasure.

I’m currently weaving together all the complicated strands of the plot for my novel Lastville, a Victorian mystery based on the Northampton boot and shoe trade. It’s taken a dark turn lately, which I’m loving. More about that in a future blog post…

New editions

I’m very excited to see this new Czech edition of Magic Puppy: Cloud Capers, and the new Hungarian editions of Magic Ponies: A Special Wish and Magic Kitten: Classroom Chaos. It’s great to welcome more lovely overseas readers to the Magic Kitten and friends family!
